Springwood Capital has experience managing funds at the Cayman Islands since 2008. In August 2017, a Cayman Islands registered closed-end fund Springwood SPC launched the latest segregated portfolio SP23: UK Retirement and Healthcare Real Estate.
The key feature of the fund is a unique risk management approach to Healthcare Real Estate Development that amongst other features can include a pre-sale agreement with an end-buyer before any significant commitment into a project. This approach enables the potential to achieve a return to investors about 20% after all fees.
The Management Company of the fund Springwood Capital (UK) Limited is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The Independent fund administrator is the Cayman National Fund Services Ltd., a Cayman Islands company that is licensed as a Mutual Fund Administrator in the Cayman Islands an independent administrator for the alternative investment industry.
